Yayannos' attitude towards construction is not affirmative nor negative. It is questioning. The constructional query is the basis for the re-foundation of modern art. Construction is not a mean (medium) to the fundamental self-cogitation of modern art. The methodological limits of construction coincide with the artistic boundaries of painting. Construction as factual condition sets the rules for the inner-aesthetic questioning of aesthetic meaning.
